MARQUIPT DAVITS, CRANES & SEA STAIRS
MarQuipt was established over 40 years ago. Its products are well respected by owners and yachting professionals around the globe, because they combine precise function with high-quality and graceful form. MarQuipt manufactures a range of:
- davits and cranes to lift tenders or equipment on and off the deck
- boarding ladders, articulating stairs and remotely operated hydraulic gangplanks to allow people to move on and off a vessel with ease
- cockpit ladders, deck rails, masts to carry electronic equipment and stylish wet bars designed for alfresco entertaining
- Marinedeck 2000 composite decking that is attractive and long lasting, easy for boat builders to work with, and less expensive than teak timber taken from the world's dwindling supply
The davits and cranes are available in various configurations, capacities and reaches, with a range of powered functions powered by a choice of 110v or 230v AC power supplies. The smallest is suitable for lifting a jet-ski or dinghy, and the largest is capable of lifting a significant twin engine tender.
Boarding ladders and articulating sea-stairs are generally based on a standard design type, but manufactured to custom specifications to provide a comfortable tread depth and step height, and the correct pivot point and hull offset. A range of finishes and tread types can be selected.
GMS has considerable experience specifying, supplying and fitting Marquipt’s range of davits, cranes, boarding ladders and articulating sea stairs.
